For the first time, football fans will be able to watch action for 10 consecutive days next month, after a new initiative was launched by the Football League.

December is always a busy month for football fans, as the festive period throws up fixtures across the leagues.

And Sky Sports have decided to kick off the Christmas football with 10 games in 10 days between December 11 and December 20.

Former Football League manager Ian Holloway will be in the studio for all 10 fixtures next month

Starting with Wolves' game at home to Nottingham Forest on the Friday evening, fans will be able to watch eight Championship games, including high-flying Brighton's trip to QPR, and leaders Hull City at home to Reading.

There will also be two League One fixtures, as Sheffield United host Coventry City, and Walsall take on Port Vale to round off the feast of football.

And to add to the entertainment, former QPR, Blackpool and Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway, now a TV pundit, will be in the studio for all 10 games.
